Sunset at Atwater Beach

You all know I love me a golden hour beach photoshoot, and this one did not disappoint! The weather was amazing, beachgoers were starting to head out, so we had a decent area of the beach almost to ourselves, and it was perfect! What made this session even more special was that it was for my beautiful friend Lauren and her husband. I know firsthand how tired moms can get toward the end of pregnancy, and maybe getting ready for photos is the last thing mamas want to do, but I love when couples want to have photos of this moment in their lives. Lauren not only made it through this session, she made it down and back up all those flights of stairs we had to take just to get to the beach (yes, we had to take stairs to get to the beach!).
