Botanical Garden Portraits
Julie was planning her small, intimate ceremony to wed Jonathan, and she knew she wanted both family photos and some bride and groom portraits before the ceremony. When I was messaging with her about a location for her session, the Boerner Botanical Gardens popped up and I remembered how beautiful this place was. It wasn't too far from where Julie and Jonathan's ceremony would be after the photos, so it was the perfect spot. The day of Julie and Jonathan's session was a warm July afternoon and the gardens were not crowded at all, so it was a great afternoon to take photos there. Julie said she is more non-traditional, so she chose a beautiful black wedding dress for her big day, and both her and Jonathan looked so elegant and classy that I could have photographed them well into sunset. To Julie and Jonathan: thank you for trusting me with such a special and important day! I wish you both a lifetime of love and happiness.
